After a submission of a picture to FHM’s “Hometown Honey”, Vida’s career exploded into one of the most recognized names in the modeling industry. From appearing in numerous video’s including Nelly’s & Puffy’s “Shake Your Tailfeather”, to her appearances on Dave Chappelle show, her calendars and posters, or more recently her acting career, Vida has been has been one of the most sought after models. Recently, she signed with “In Ya Face Records” and preparing her first album release. Read below and get the inside on her new album strictly from WHO?MAG. |

WHO?MAG: How did you first get into modeling?
VIDA GUERRA: An ex-boyfriend of mine had submitted my pictures into a magazine. Into the FHM magazine.
WHO?MAG: You’re about to appear in “National Lampoons Dorm Daze 2” as well as a few other movies and shows. How did you first get into acting?
VIDA GUERRA: I did a short filmed. It was called writers block. I always wanted to act. I used to do plays in school. So I first got into acting with the movie Writers Block, then I did an independent film called “Fake Preacher” and then did National Lampoons Dorm Daze. Now I’m about to do another film.
WHO?MAG: How did you get involved with In Ya Face Records?
VIDA GUERRA: My manager was associated with them and presented me to them and that’s how it all came about.
WHO?MAG: Tell us about your upcoming album “Theme Park”.
VIDA GUERRA: My album is going to have R&B and hip-hop. In some of songs I am singing and some of the songs I’m flowing on it. It basically is going to be a great album. I have seven songs recorded so far and I’m about to record another seven. I am really looking forward to it. It’s going to be a great album.
WHO?MAG: As a recording artist, what will make you different from other singers?
VIDA GUERRA: I just have a unique voice that is unique all around. Also my style is really unique.
WHO?MAG: What’s the hardest thing about being Vida Guerra?
VIDA GUERRA: Trusting people, haha!
WHO?MAG: What was your reaction to the huge response you received after you submitted your picture to FHM?
VIDA GUERRA: I was both overwhelmed and excited at the same time.
WHO?MAG: Last year, you made the top ten list for internet most searched for female celebrities. From a model’s point of view, what are some of the advantages and disadvantages for models on the internet today?
VIDA GUERRA: The disadvantage is that people see you as a sex symbol so they think that’s all you have. The advantage is that it gets your face out there and people recognize you and more opportunities come from that.
WHO?MAG: What’s the one thing that people don’t know about you that you would like for them to know?
VIDA GUERRA: I’m pretty real in all my interviews so if some one asks me a question they should know that I pretty much answered it.
WHO?MAG: What’s next for Vida Guerra?
VIDA GUERRA: I just finishing up the album and now doing this movie. I am also getting ready to another movie this year. My goal is to do three movies per year. I also want to have three albums.
